Secret Garden

This is my entry for The Secret Garden, over on TGIF, where forum friend Jo is host for the week - it's mostly digital...well, ok, ALL digital, and I thoroughly enjoyed making it!

TMTA Rendezvous

Over at TMTA this week, the challenge is 'Rendezvous' - who would you like to meet up with?
Double date for me, although if I had to choose one, it'd be the one on the left......

These guys have made an appearance on my blog before. I feel sure they will again...

TMTA Challenge

This weeks TMTA challenge is Scribble -something I used to do at school during the boring lessons, (which was pretty much everything except art, so I did quite a lot of it!)
It's apparently called Zentangle, I never knew there was a term for it. I coloured this one with chalks when I'd drawn it, bit like a card I made for a project in Craft Stamper this month. See below...

TMTA - textures

This weeks TMTA challenge is textures - this is one of my favourite techniques for creating a painty splattery effect...it's painted bondaweb, which you leave to dry and then iron on to the card. And then add a load of other stuff, the more the merrier! I never was very good at minimalism.
This one is another fave technique- stamping with paint dabbers. Love 'em .... I'm halfway to collecting the full set - hang the expense!
I love the effect you get when you stamp into embossing powder - I know it's old hat but I think it looks really good. The random embellishment bit was an experiment - it's a bit of that coloured plasma, which I heated up and then stamped into. I love melting stuff - heaven knows what ghastly fumes I've been breathing in over the years....

TMTA - Insects

The theme on TMTA this week is insects. This is the first time I have entered a challenge. Hope it works!
