Altered Element DT

I've been getting behind with my DT work for the Altered Element (again!), and have resolved to catch up........Anyway, a while ago, Lynne sent me this lovely wooden house to decorate and I've been looking at it blankly for ages - Then I had a eureka moment one day when the words 'beach hut' popped into my mind. I covered it in gesso and sponged on some Distress ink (Stormy Sky), there followed another blank session until I discovered an old book called Along The Sea Shore. So I ripped out a page and added some more ink and a few shell stamps, tore it up into pieces and stuck them on with pva. A few shells and a bit of siname(?) later, and Voila! Oh, and I pinched the life belt from an old dust gatherer/ornament I found lurking at the back of a cupboard. All I need now is a seagull to live in it......
