Altered Element DT part 2
And while I'm at it, I made this a while ago from a piece of Tyvek that was in my surfaces pack. I coloured the Tyvek with Adirondack colourwash, stamped it and then stitched it to the paper. The beads were also made with Tyvek, I sprayed the colour on first then rolled it round some paper and heated it - gotta be careful with the heat gun here, if you overdo it, the Tyvek completely disappears! Finished them off with some wire and seed beads, attached the piece to some twigs with garden string and hung the beads off the ends, and Voila again!

ReplyDeleteI have no idea what tyvek is but this piece looks absolutely stunning. Fantastic job with the splashes, again, no idea how you've achieved it with the colourwash but I love it. And what is the stamp you've used with the wording? Fabulous! Absolutely divine. Wow. Double woow. Make it triple!
