My dear friend Carol has just been asked to be guest designer over on Paper Artsy. *Bows and scrapes, I am not worthy* So when I saw the gorgeous Oriental tag she had made, I thought, 'Im gonna have a go at that'.Of course, I don't have any Oriental stamps. No gold UTEE either. I don't even have all the right PA Fresco Paints. (Yet :)) AND normally when I try to make something like someone else's, I get totally sidetracked and end up with something so far removed, you'd never guess what inspired me. I managed to keep to the colour scheme (kinda), and I mixed up some clear UTEE with ordinary gold and a few spoonfuls of Cosmic Shimmer powder, and of course I have my new Alice stamps, so I managed to come up with the first tag. And then I came with another one using some of the left over bits. Couldn't stop myself adding some torn paper to this, I love bits of torn paper!! And I swiped the paint on the background (like Carol suggested) instead of dabbing it on as usual.
The wording is from a song of Alice's called Black Widow.
Oooh wow Pen great tags, love your colours and I think my fave is the right one but only slightly as I like the image better!!
